What size snowboard should I have if I am 5'9 and 160 pounds. I am also a beginner?
My plan is to buy my snowboard and online links, but my boots at the store since its difficult to buy the correct size unless you try. Thanks!
You've made the right decision by not buying the boots online this almost always end with you getting the wrong boots. In terms of board and links you can get online while you are sure the breadth of the board is right for you is, regular or wide midwide. Ok I am assuming that you will need a regular meeting to go by your height and weight I would recommend go to an all mountain board around a 155. All cards are ideal for mountain riders begin as you can do all types of rideing them freestyle, freeride and dust. It will follow a fairly small board, but as a new rider is a smaller board easier to turn and learn the basics and you advance faster. I do not agree with Terry M about getting a card though as percific freeride freeride boards are designed to operate at high speeds and because of this you can not really get begineers freeride boards anyway, even if you felt you will not be in the park on horseback or any kind of free style, you will be better with a board mounatin Everyone, even if you are walking the streets.
